Chestnut Hill Farms is a Miami-based grower/packer, importer and distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables sourced from diverse locations in Latin America. As a company, we specialize in the marketing and sales of “value-added” products, particularly within the rapidly expanding “ripe-and-ready-to-eat” retail market segment.
Chestnut Hill Farms, places a very strong emphasis on developing long-term working alliances with key growers who can consistently produce the quality and volumes needed to profitably expand sales. Customer goals are based on the development of strategic relationships that enable growth of the business in a profitable way.
Chestnut Hill Farms has significantly refined and deepened its product line, with an emphasis on volume development in those categories to which the Company can add value and become a reliable supplier for key customers. The primary product development efforts are focused on customer needs, particularly as these relate to the category management practices used in the business. The primary product lines are:
Melons, with an emphasis on Cantaloupes and the Perfect Melon™
Asparagus, with an emphasis on Peruvian Green and White varieties.
Mangos, with an emphasis on Brazil, Peru and Ecuador.
Pineapples, with an emphasis on Costa Rica and the Perfect Pineapple™.
The Company’s operations are based in a “state-of-the art” cold storage facility, which is HACCP approved, located in an industrial park just west of the Miami International Airport. A sister company, Bounty Logistics, LLC, manages all of the logistical support systems required to import and distribute products with efficient and quality-conscious practices. Chestnut Hill Farms also has a very close strategic alliance with the Port of Miami Cold Storage operation that enables the receiving and distribution of products in periods of peak demand with efficient and quality-conscious handling practices.
